A debit card allows you to make online and in-store purchases and payments including your bills directly from your bank account with no additional cost involved. Our debit cards are globally accepted and come with a host of benefits you will enjoy.

By default, you will receive a debit card when you open an Emirates NBD Current or Savings Account eligible for one. Debit Card also enables you to withdraw cash from your account through an ATM.

If you’re an existing Emirates NBD account holder, your banking package would determine which debit card you’re eligible for.

Eligible cards for our banking packages:

Classic Package: Visa Classic
Plus, Plus Maximizer, and Beyond packages: Visa Platinum, Manchester United Platinum, Ladies Banking Platinum, Go4it, Emirati Signature*
Youth Package: Go4it, Manchester United Platinum, Ladies Banking Platinum
Priority Banking package: Visa Signature, Manchester United Signature, Emirati Signature*, Skywards Infinite**
Private Banking package: Visa Infinite, Skywards Infinite**

* Applicable only for UAE Nationals under the UAE National Personal Banking or Priority Banking Package.

** To be eligible for a Skywards Infinite Debit Card, you will need to open a Skywards Savings Account with Emirates NBD.

Fees and charges

There is no charge for a new primary or supplementary debit card. For replacement, a nominal fee may apply based on your banking package.

FAQs

How do I apply for a new debit card if I don't have one?

You can always apply for a new debit card for one of your existing accounts by calling us on +971 600 54 0000 or visiting your nearest Emirates NBD branch with your Emirates ID or passport for identification. Your debit card application submitted at the branch will be processed within 1 working day. Once your application is accepted, your card will be delivered to you in 3 to 5 working days.
International deliveries may take 7 to 10 working days and a fee of AED 150 + 5% VAT will apply.

How can I follow up on my debit card application?

If your application and delivery timeframe has exceeded, please call us on +971 600 54 0000.

Are there any rewards associated with my debit card?

Currently, only the Skywards Infinite Debit Card has a rewards programme associated with it.

Can I overdraw my account with my debit card?

If your debit card is linked to a current account with an active overdraft, the card can be used to overdraw your account.

Can I cancel a payment or obtain a refund on a purchase?

No, once a transaction has been authorised, it can't be stopped. Read about how you can dispute a transaction.
