Emirates NBD highlights commitment to Emiratisation at Careers UAE

Emirates NBD, has announced its participation at the Careers UAE 2019

Dubai, 13 March 2019:Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the region, has announced its participation at the Careers UAE 2019, which will be held from 19 - 21 March at Dubai World Trade Centre. The bank's participation is part of its ongoing drive to develop its UAE national workforce.

Through its participation, the bank aims to build capabilities, develop the leadership skills of UAE nationals working in the banking sector, and attract qualified and talented nationals to work in both leading and managerial positions across its various departments.

At the exhibition, Emirates NBD will conduct on-the-spot interviews to offer admissions to candidates aspiring for careers in the banking sector and offer on-the-spot entries to applicants in their exclusive 'Programme for Accelerated Learning' (PAL), talent advancement programme for university graduates. PAL is a 12 -18 months extensive training programme that covers basic and complex banking systems, discussion skills, delegation skills, inspiration theories, and development training amongst others. The programme includes on-the-job training with Certificate in Finance Accounting and Business (CFAB), Certified Banking Operations (CBO) & Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) enabling UAE National employees to gain banking experience whilst preparing them for a range of roles within the bank.

Commenting on the bank’s participation at Careers UAE 2019, Husam Al Sayed, Group Chief Human Resource Officer, Emirates NBD, said: “Platforms such as Careers UAE provide us a great opportunity to meet, engage with, and recruit talented nationals to help build a promising future for Emirates NBD as we continue to lead the region’s banking sector. In addition to the spots in its trainee programmes, the bank is also looking to hire experienced Emirati applicants across a range of positions, starting from junior to managerial posts.
