The Dubai FinTech Summit is an event organized by UAE-based financial hub, Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), designed to set a global benchmark for the way enterprises and governments approach financial innovation. The summit consolidates Dubai as a rising Fintech hub, encouraging startup innovation and investment under its visionary leadership.

DIFC Strategic Partnership

The Letter of Intent was signed at the Dubai FinTech Summit 2023, by Arif Amiri CEO of DIFC Authority and Abdulla Qassem, Group Chief Operating Officer, Emirates NBD, in the presence of EXCO members and senior leadership from Emirates NBD, along with key partners.

The joint initiative aims to foster national talent, boost innovation and entrepreneurial growth and build Emirates NBD’s overall global reputation in the areas of FinTech and ESG, with the end goal of boosting the nation’s global standing as a key global investment hub.

Launch of Digital Asset Lab

Emirates NBD launched its Digital Asset Lab, in line with the overall strategy of driving digital innovation, customer-centricity and adapting with evolving market dynamics. Founding council members included professional services firm PwC, and digital asset transfer and direct custody technology platform, Fireblocks.

The Lab aims to establish a robust platform with industry experts enabling co-creation and experimentation to drive innovation in financial services.
