What is a Balance Certificate?

A Balance Certificate is an official document issued by the bank stating how much money you have in your account on the date you requested it. It will also have your account number and IBAN. You will need this letter when applying for a visa, university education or at any other time when you need to prove that you have sufficient funds in your account.

You will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number once your letter is processed and ready to be collected.

To collect the letter, visit the Emirates NBD branch you requested before 2 pm with your Emirates ID or passport for identification.
