It’s been great experiencing so many different roles across Emirates NBD. I started as a graduate, then moved to trade finance, then did a customer-facing and sales role in Business Banking. I was even a HR Business Partner for a while before moving into my current position in Tanfeeth. Emirates NBD is always pushing us to try new roles and I like challenging myself.

I’m part of Tanfeeth’s Emirati Committee, making life better for UAE Nationals. We meet with Tanfeeth’s UAE National community a lot and connect in with the bank’s broader Emiratisation team too. It’s been especially rewarding to help Emiratis take the next big step in their career when they were ready for it.

I like the diversity of Emirates NBD. You get to understand different cultures, nationalities and how people think.  It’s a huge, huge plus for the bank.

I met Steven Covey; author of “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” when Emirates NBD brought him to us for training. It’s one of my favorite books so it was a great experience. I love reading to unwind after work, especially self-help books
