Terms & Conditions

In accordance with the terms and conditions below, Emirates NBD Bank PJSC (the "Bank") will be rewarding eligible customers by entering them into a prize draw to win monthly prizes as well as grand prizes (hereafter referred to as the "Promotion").

  • The Promotion period is from 01 September 2019 to 29 February 2020.
  • The Promotion will have monthly draws conducted after the end of each calendar month and one grand draw after the end of the Promotion period.
  • Customers in Personal Banking, Priority Banking, Business Banking and Private Banking segments will be eligible to participate in the Promotion.
  • Current Accounts, Savings Accounts, Call Accounts (hereafter referred to as ‘CASA’), SmartSaver (hereafter referred to as ‘SS’), Plus Saver (hereafter referred to as ‘PS’) and Fixed Deposits (hereafter referred to as ‘FD’) will be eligible for the Promotion. This Promotion also applies to Islamic accounts under CASA and FD.
  • Customers will be considered as existing if accounts are opened on or before 31 August 2019
  • Customers will be considered as new if accounts are opened on or after 01 September 2019

I. Grand Draw: 3 Mercedes-Maybach S 650 cars

There will be 3 draw pools for the grand draw:

i) Pool 1 - Individual customers:

  • This pool will have entries of existing, NTB (new to bank) and NTA (new to accounts) “Individual” customers who have increased balances and/or opened a salary transfer or non-salary transfer account
  • Pool 1 draw prize will consist of 1 Mercedes-Maybach S 650 car at the end of the promotion period
  • A minimum average balance during the Promotion period of AED 100,000 in CASA and SS, PS or FD to qualify to enter the draw
  • Every increase of AED 50,000 in CASA or AED 100,000 in SS, PS or FD average balance (during the Promotion period) over the existing August 2019 average balance will qualify to get one entry into the draw

ii) Pool 2 - UAE National individual customers:
  • This pool will have entries of existing, NTB (new to bank) and NTA (new to accounts) “Individual” customers who have increased balances and/or opened a salary transfer or non-salary transfer account
  • Pool 2 draw will consist of 1 Mercedes-Maybach S 650 car at the end of the promotion period
  • A minimum average balance during the Promotion period of AED 100,000 in CASA and SS, PS or FD to qualify to enter the draw
  • Every increase of AED 50,000 in CASA or AED 100,000 in SS, PS or FD average balance (during the Promotion period) over the existing August 2019 average balance will qualify to get one entry into the draw

iii) Pool 3 - Non-individual customers:
  • This pool will have entries of existing, NTB (new to bank) and NTA (new to account) “non-individual” customers who have increased balances and/or opened a business account.
  • Pool 3 draw will consist of one (1) Mercedes-Maybach S 650 car at the end of the promotion period
  • Minimum average balance during Promotion period of AED 100,000 in CASA and SS, PS or FD to qualify to enter the draw
  • Every increase of AED 50,000 in CASA or AED 100,000 in SS, PS or FD average balance (during the Promotion period) over August 2019 average balance will qualify to get one entry into the draw

II. Monthly Draws: 30 Omega Speedmaster watches

There will be 3 draw pools for the monthly draws:

i) Pool 1 - Individual customers:

  • This pool will have entries of existing, NTB (new to bank) and NTA (new to account) “Individual” customers who have increased balances and/or opened a salary transfer or non-salary transfer account
  • Pool 1 draw will consist of 10 Omega Speedmaster watches each month of the promotion period
  • Minimum average balance during promotion period of AED 25,000 in accounts (including CASA, SS, PS and FD) to qualify to enter the draw
  • Every increase of AED 5,000 in CASA or AED 10,000 in SS, PS and FD average balance (during the promotion period) over August 2019 average balance will qualify to get one entry.
  • The increase will have to be NTB funds. NTB funds denote new funds brought in to Emirates NBD group.
  • Every NTB or NTA account opened will earn additional entries, subject to average balance during promotion period (averaged over month on books) of AED 25,000 in accounts (including CASA, SS, PS and FD):
    • Personal Banking Beyond: 1 entry
    • Priority Banking: 2 entries
    • Private Banking: 3 entries
  • New salary account with at least one month of salary transfer will qualify, number of additional entries to be as follows:
    • PSB Beyond (salary variant only): 2 entries
    • Priority Banking (salary variant only): 4 entries
    • Others (except Classic and Private Banking): 1 entry
  • Customers with an existing account, opening a new account on Online/ Mobile and bringing in additional balances of at least AED 5,000 will get one additional entry.

ii) Pool 2 - UAE National individual customers:
  • This pool will have entries of existing, NTB (new to bank) and NTA (new to account) “UAE National Individual” customers who have increased balances and/or opened a salaried or savings account.
  • Pool 2 draw will consist of 10 Omega Speedmaster watches each month of the promotion period
  • Minimum average balance during promotion period of AED 25,000 in accounts (including CASA, SS, PS and FD) to qualify to enter the draw.
  • Every increase of AED 5,000 in CASA or AED 10,000 in SS, PS and FD average balance (during the promotion period) over August 2019 average balance will qualify to get one entry.
  • The increase will have to be NTB funds. NTB funds denote new funds brought in to Emirates NBD group.
  • Every NTB or NTA account opened will earn additional entries, subject to average balance during promotion period (averaged over month on books) of AED 25,000 in accounts (including CASA, SS, PS and FD):
    • Personal Banking Beyond: 1 entry
    • Priority Banking: 2 entries
    • Private Banking: 3 entries
  • New salary account with at least one month of salary transfer will qualify, number of additional entries to be as follows:

iii) Pool 3 - Non-individual customers:
  • This pool will have entries of existing, NTB (new to bank) and NTA (new to account) “non-individual” customers who have increased balances and/or opened an account.
  • Pool 3 monthly draws will consist of 10 Omega Speedmaster watches each month of the promotion period
  • Minimum average balance during promotion period of AED 50,000 in accounts (including CASA, SS, PS and FD) to qualify to enter the draw.
  • Every increase of AED 10,000 in CASA or AED 20,000 in SS, PS and FD average balance (during the promotion period) over August 2019 average balance will qualify to get one entry.
  • The increase will have to be NTB funds. NTB funds denote new funds brought in to Emirates NBD group.
  • Every NTB or NTA account opened will earn additional entries, subject to average balance during promotion period (averaged over month on books) of AED 25,000 in accounts (including CASA, SS, PS and FD):
    • Business Banking Plus: 1 entry
    • Business Banking Select: 2 entries
  • Customers with an existing account, opening a new account on Online/ Mobile and bringing in additional balances of at least AED 5,000 will get one additional entry.
  • Growth and balances in CASA, SS, PS and FD accounts cannot be clubbed to ascertain eligibility. Growth in balances is required at a customer level.

1) Customers will be required to ‘opt-in’ or register with the bank to be eligible for prizes.

2) The maximum number of entries for the Grand Draw will be limited to 200 per customer. The maximum number of entries for Monthly Draws will be limited to 100 per customer.

3) Customers must be active account holders at the time of each respective draw to qualify to win.

4) In the case of Joint accounts, the primary account holder will be the winner.

5) The prize for a non-individual customer will be awarded to the business entity.

6) Where the customer is non-contactable or does not collect the prize within the stipulated date, the Bank may, at its sole discretion, credit the customer’s account with the Bank, a maximum cash amount as follows:

  • Mercedes-Maybach S 650 – AED 500,000
  • Omega Speedmaster watch – AED 5,000

7) Once the cash is credited to the customer’s account, the customer will have no further claim to the prize.

8) Prizes are non-transferable and should be collected in person by the winner within 30 days of the draw date.

9) Prizes can be forfeited if the Bank has sufficient grounds to believe that the winner has violated any laws or regulations applicable in the UAE.

10) The following individuals/entities shall not be eligible to participate in the Promotion:

  • Permanent and/or contract employees of Emirates NBD group of companies and their immediate family members; and
  • Representatives and/or agents (including advertising and promotion agents) of Emirates NBD and their immediate family members.

11) Winning customers may be required to attend a prize presentation ceremony and other publicity programmes as and when required by the Bank at their own cost and expense. The winning customer agrees to his/ her name and/or photograph being used in the Bank’s collaterals, SMS, newspaper advertisements, press releases and website updates as part of this Promotion.

12) The Prize(s) featured in all printed materials and/or website of the Bank are shown for illustrative purposes only. The Bank reserves the right to change the make, brand, model, colour or specifications of the car or watches at its discretion.

13) All participant(s) with qualifying entries will be tabulated and a random selection will be conducted to select the winners.

14) These terms and conditions are subject to change, addition or amendment, at any time, at the sole discretion of the Bank without notice to the customer.

15) The Bank reserves the right to amend or cancel the Promotion and/ or the prizes at any time without notice to the customer.

16) The prizes are offered by the Bank in association with external third party providers and the Bank cannot be held responsible for non-delivery or difference in specification of the prizes from what is mentioned above. Any queries or complaints with respect to the product should be taken up with the providers directly. These terms and conditions and any dispute arising from them, including in relation to interpretation or execution, shall be governed by the laws of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai.
