Sulaiman AL Mazroui meets with Chairman of Ajman Chamber of Commerce
The meeting aimed at enforcing mutual cooperation for supporting small and medium enterprises within Al Tomooh Scheme
Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui, Executive Director of Al Tomooh Supreme Committee met with H.E. Obaid Ali Al Mehairi Chairman of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and H.E. Mohammed Al Hamrani, General Manager of Ajman Chamber of Commerce. The two parties discussed means of enhancing mutual cooperation for supporting the small and medium enterprises sector which is considered a pillar of the National economy. They also discussed the possibility of developing the criteria of the scheme in order to meet the needs of the entrepreneurs in each Emirate and to respond to the requirements of the market at present.
Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui referred to the importance of small National and medium enterprises in achieving economic development and upholding the initiative and leadership spirit. The two parties expressed their commitment to supporting and encouraging young UAE Nationals to step into the business world and utilize the opportunities available in the UAE market.
This visit comes within a work plan for following up on the projects of young UAE Nationals and emboldening them to have their own business and become entrepreneurs by using the facilities offered by the Government to the UAE Nationals in general and the support rendered by AL TOMOOH Scheme in particular.
AL TOMOOH Finance Scheme is the first of its kind in the United Arab Emirates. It was launched by a resolution of the board of Emirates Bank at the time. It was established in 1998 and has so far offered around AED 40 million in financing for almost 113 national projects in several sectors in various Emirates of the UAE.
